If Your Class 12 Marks Were Lower Than Expected

Given the sharp drop in pass percentage to 85.20% in 2026, linked partly to the new On-Screen Marking (OSM) system rollout:

Option 1 — Re-evaluation: Apply within 21 days of result declaration at cbseit.in. Fees reduced by up to 85% in 2026; full refund if marks increase.

Option 2 — CBSE Improvement Exam (2027): Re-appear in up to five subjects the following year; best marks between both attempts are recorded.

Option 3 — Compartment Exam: If you failed one or two subjects, the Compartment Exam is expected July–August 2026. Register through your school.
